These Rules govern your participation in the My Bank Rewards Program (also referred to as the “Program”). Your participation in this Program enables you to earn points that may be redeemed for various rewards.
As used in these Rules, the terms “you” and “your” refer to an individual that has requested and/or received a First United Bank and Trust My Bank VISA® Check Card or a First United Bank and Trust My Business VISA® Check Card (each are referred to as a “Card”). By using or accepting a Card, you agree to these Rules and any changes, additions, or deletions to them. First United Bank and Trust (also referred to as “your Financial Institution”) issues and administers all Cards. The My Bank Rewards toll-free number is 1-877-NOW-REWARDS (1-877-669-7392) (also referred to as the “My Bank Rewards Service Center”).
RewardsNOW, Inc. manages and administers the Program through FIS Corporation. RewardsNOW, FIS, and your Financial Institution are not affiliates. These Rules and Card transactions are also subject to other agreements you may have with your Financial Institution (for example, Cardholder agreements).
The My Bank Rewards Program is offered at the sole discretion of FIS and your Financial Institution. They reserve the right to change these rules at any time, for any reason, and without notice. They also reserve the right to suspend or terminate the Program, cancel outstanding points, change the terms governing requests for and receipt of rewards (including the number of points needed for a reward). Neither FIS nor your Financial institution assumes any liability whatsoever for changes to these Rules or for the suspension or termination of the Program.
Cards and related accounts may be subject to fees and charges in accordance with the applicable cardholder agreements and fee schedules.
In the event you commit fraud, abuse of Program privileges, or violate the Rules (for example, by attempting to sell, exchange, or transfer points or any instrument exchangeable for points), FIS and/or your Financial Institution, in their sole discretion, reserve the right to cancel your participation in the Program and/or your outstanding points.
You are responsible for any personal tax liability related to participation in the Program or as a result of points earned or redeemed for rewards under the Program.
The Program is void where prohibited by law.
Neither FIS nor your Financial Institution is responsible for managing or administering the Program or providing services under the Program. Neither FIS nor your Financial Institution will be responsible for errors or omissions in any Program document.
You (and any other beneficiary of the Program) agree that neither FIS nor your Financial Institution nor RewardsNOW will be liable for, and you and any other beneficiary of the Program) release, discharge, and agree to hold harmless FIS, your Financial Institution, and RewardsNOW or anyone who acted on behalf of FIS, the Financial Institution, or RewardsNOW, from any and all claims of any sort, type, kind, or nature that you (or any beneficiary of the Program) may have against FIS, your Financial Institution, or RewardsNOW, arising out of or in any way relating to participation in the Program or rewards received under the Program– including (but not limited to) claims for or due to personal injury, property damage, accident, sickness, delay, cancellation, postponement, inconvenience, penalty, refund, or other irregularities that may occur or that may be caused by any provider of a product, service or other reward.
FIS and/or your Financial Institution reserve the right to interpret these Rules and adopt and interpret other policies for the administration of the Program. Any interpretation by FIS and/or your Financial Institution, including with respect to point credits and reward qualifications, will be final and binding on you.
If your Card is a My Bank VISA® Check Card or a My Business VISA® Check Card, you will earn one point for every four U.S. dollars ($4) spent on eligible non-PIN or signature-based debit card purchases that you make using your Card rounded to the nearest whole dollar. You will earn one point for every twenty U.S. dollars ($20) spent on eligible PIN-based debit card purchases that you make using your Card rounded to the nearest whole dollar.
“Net purchases” are defined as the dollar value of goods and services that you purchase with a Card beginning with the first day of the billing cycle that includes your Enrollment Date, minus any credits, returns, or other adjustments made to your Card account as reflected on monthly billing statements. The term “Enrollment Date” means the date you received a Card. FIS and/or your Financial Institution, in their sole discretion, reserve the right to determine whether a Card transaction qualifies as an eligible purchase of goods or services under the Program.
Transactions excluded from point calculation include the following: (a) ATM withdrawals, except as otherwise permitted in special promotional offers; (b) any fees and Card-related charges posted to a Card account, as outlined in the applicable Cardholder agreement; or (c) tax payments or any unauthorized charges or transactions.
Negative points will post on a statement if returns or credits exceed purchases.
Points may be earned on a Card account only if that account is in good standing. A Card account is not in good standing if it is closed or suspended (for any reason), if any payment due under the account has not been paid by its due date, or if the credit limit on the account has been exceeded. If the account is closed by you, FIS or your Financial Institution, for any reason, all points that have accumulated but remain unused as of the account closing date will be immediately forfeited and will lapse.
Point accrual will begin upon the first day of the calendar month that includes your Enrollment Date. No retroactive points will be awarded.
The number of points you can earn in a calendar year is unlimited.
Points earned will be credited on a monthly basis. If you provide an e-mail address when registering for online rewards account access, you will be sent a monthly e-statement notification by email. The email will contain a link to the website where you can view your current point balance. Email addresses can be updated by visiting the My Preferences page.
A Point will expire unless it is redeemed within three years after the month it is credited to your account.
Points have no cash value. Points and rewards are not considered your property and are generally not transferable upon death, as part of a legal settlement, or as part of a domestic relations issue.
Points may be redeemed for a variety of rewards and sweepstakes, as indicated in the My Bank Rewards brochure or online catalog. When you are ready to redeem points, you must visit the My Bank Rewards online catalog or call the My Bank Rewards Service Center. Current hours of operation are 24 hours a day, 7 days per week. For travel-related rewards, you can redeem your points for a flight via our online booking page, or for travel packages. Restrictions may apply; see website or call for details.

When Points are redeemed and/or expired, if applicable, they will be used in the order in which they were credited to your account starting with the oldest Points first.
All point redemptions will be sent to the billing address listed for the Card account. UPS or the United States Postal Service will usually deliver a reward within 2-4 weeks. Shipments cannot be made to a post office box, an APO address or outside the 50 United States. You may update your shipping address by calling the My Bank Rewards Service Center. (This will not cause a permanent change with your Financial Institution.)
All rewards are subject to availability. Reward items may be discontinued or withdrawn without notice. Should an item be discontinued, it will be replaced with an item of equal or greater value or you will be advised of unavailability so that you can make an alternate selection.
If an item arrives in damaged condition, you may return it for a replacement. You should contact 1-800-240-4814 ext. 203 for a return authorization. Item(s) must be returned within 30 days of receipt in the original packaging. Return shipping charges are your responsibility.
For returns of items that are not damaged, you should contact the My Bank Rewards Service Center. Return shipping charges are your responsibility. There is a $30 restocking fee. Item(s) must be returned within 30 days of receipt, unused, and in the original packaging. Gift Cards cannot be returned for any reason.
Neither FIS, your Financial Institution nor RewardsNOW is responsible for lost or stolen correspondence, documents, certificates, goods or rewards under the Program.
The person that receives or uses a reward under the Program has sole responsibility for any liability, charges or dollars paid over and above the stated value of the reward, including (without limitation) with respect to the stated value of a gift card or a gift certificate, and neither FIS, your Financial Institution nor the issuer of any reward assumes any liability for such excess liability, charges or dollars paid.
